Gold Star Bin Service Company Terms and Conditions of Service
Definitions
“Gold Star Bin Service Company” means the wheelie bin management service, including the Gold Star Bin Service Company website, and associated services.
“Software” refers to this website, updates, or third-party tools provided by Gold Star Bin Service Company.
Agreement Overview
This is an agreement between you (Client) and Gold Star Bin Service Company (and its affiliates, “Gold Star Bin Service Company” or “we”).
Before using Gold Star Bin Service Company, please read the follow:
- Gold Star Bin Service Company Terms and Conditions of Service, the Gold Star Bin Service Company Privacy Notice,
- Gold Star Bin Service Company Recurring Payment Terms and Conditions,
- Other rules and or policies posted on the Gold Star Bin Service Company website and or available through your Gold Star Bin Service Company app (collectively, this “Agreement”).
- By using Gold Star Bin Service Company, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement.
- If terms and conditions of this Agreement is not accepted, Gold Star Bin Service Company will not be bound by any agreement.
Scope of Service
By creating an account, accessing, or using Gold Star Bin Service Company platform, the Client enter into a direct contractual relationship with Gold Star Bin Service Company,
A (council provided) wheelie bin placement services provider that provides services to individuals, homeowners, holiday rentals, and property managers seeking waste management services.
Service Description
According to the plan selected during sign-up, Gold Star Bin Service Company employees will:
1) Move bins to the kerbside (footpath) before council rubbish pickup day.
2) Return them to their original location afterward.
Access to property and Responsibilities
Subscribing to Gold Star Bin Service Company service, the Client confirms and agree to the following:
a) The Client is responsible for ensuring your property meets all city code compliance requirements, including:
– Gate security
– Waste lines
– Fence conditions
- Gold Star Bin Service Company is not liable for service issues related to unsafe or non-compliant environments.
- Gold Star Bin Service Company employees have authorise/ consent access to the property (or designated location) for the purpose of moving your wheelie bins containing waste, green and/or recycling bins as agreed.
b) The Client responsibility is to ensure that wheelie bins are accessible by 5:00pm the afternoon prior to the service being carried out
Note: If Gold Star Bin Service Company are unable to perform service due to lack of access/ bin availability, the service will be changed, and No credit will be issued.
C) Provide necessary information for access prior, including:
1) Gate codes
2) Garage codes – If you grant garage access: You confirm it’s safe and hazard-free.
You are responsible for disarming alarms. Gold Star Bin Service Company is not liable for:
a) Missing items
b) Garage door/opener damage
c) Garage being left open
D) Pet relocation – The Client is responsible for restraining pets. If a Gold Star Bin Service Company employees deems an unrestrained pet unsafe, service will be skipped4) Lock combinations
Note: If access is blocked or unsafe, no service will be provided, and no refund will be issued.
E) Recordings – Gold Star Bin Service Company uses video recording with audio (mobile phone or otherwise) while on the property being serviced. Recordings are kept for liability protection, customer assurance, and incident documentation. Recordings may be retained and reviewed only by the Director/s of Gold Star Bin Service Company when it is necessary to resolve issues or complaints.
Note: Gold Star Bin Service Company is not responsible for damage caused by any vehicle (yours or others) hitting or knocking over bins.
Pricing and Billing/ Payment Terms
- The Client agrees to pay Gold Star Bin Service Company the current service fee associated with your chosen plan, plus any applicable taxes if applicable. All charges follow the billing terms presented during signup.
2) Gold Star Bin Service Company reserves the right to modify pricing at any time with at least 2 months’ notice. If you don’t agree with new pricing, you may cancel your service before the new rates take effect. - Service fees are billed in advance on a weekly, monthly or yearly basis, depending on the selected plan. Charges will recur automatically unless cancelled.
1) All local, state, and federal taxes will be added where applicable.
2) No partial credits or refunds will be issued for unused service. - By subscribing, the client agrees to allow Gold Star Bin Service Company to automatically charge your payment method per your selected plan.
Gold Star Bin Service Company may attempt to update your payment method using automated account updater services from your bank or credit card provider. - If the client’s payment is declined, Gold Star Bin Service Company may retry for up to 8 consecutive days, and again for two more months, if needed. Repeated failures may result in service interruption or cancellation.
Cancellation
- The client can cancel a subscription anytime by accessing the Manage Your Subscription link on the website and as notified in your confirmation email at start of services.
- Gold Star Bin Service Company uses Stripe for payment process, and clients are able to access individual account within the Gold Star Bin Service Company Stripe account
By using clients Gold Star Bin Service Company account at Stripe the client may change or cancel the plan at any time. - No trial periods are available
- To cancel a services Monthly Plans:
The client must give 30 days’ notice before your next billing cycle.
Terms and Conditions
- Overloaded & Overflowing Trash
To protect our staff:
* Do not overload bins
* Lids must close fully
*Trash must not obstruct access paths
Note: If bins are overloaded or surrounded by excess waste, service will not be performed, and no refunds or credits will be issued.

- Inclement Weather
In severe weather (e.g., heavy rain, ice, wind, snow), Gold Star Bin Service Company may delay, reschedule, or cancel service for safety reasons.
No refunds or credits will be issued for missed service due to weather. - Road Closures
We are not liable for missed pickups due to road closures that prevent access to your property. - Sanitation Clause
If bins are deemed excessively dirty or smelly, Gold Star Bin Service Company may decline service for hygiene and safety.
You will be notified via text or email. If not resolved, service may be suspended without refund. - Software & Tech Failures
While rare, Gold Star Bin Service Company are not responsible for service interruptions caused by:
– website crashes, including payment processing through Stripe Payments
– Mobile phone outages
– Hardware issues
– No refunds or credits will be issued for these issues. - Holiday Schedule
Gold Star Bin Service Company will do its best to adjust routes based on holiday pickup changes by your local council.
However, due to inconsistent municipal holiday schedules, we are not liable for missed pickups during holidays. - Short-Term Rental Properties
Owner’s Responsibility:
If the property is a short-term rental, you are fully responsible for compliance with all local rules regarding wheelie bin placement. Gold Star Bin Service Company is not liable for any fines. - Force Majeure
Gold Star Bin Service Company is not liable for service failure caused by events outside of our control, including:
– Acts of God
– Natural disasters
– Government orders
– Strikes
– Transportation or power failures
If a Force Majeure event continues for 30+ days, either party may cancel this agreement. - Customer Satisfaction
If you’re not satisfied, you must notify Gold Star Bin Service Company within 7 days so Gold Star Bin Service Company can investigate and resolve the issue promptly. - Changes to Service
Gold Star Bin Service Company reserves the right to change, limit, or discontinue service or these terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any changes. - Arbitration & Disputes
Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration under Queensland law. You waive the right to participate in class-action lawsuits or jury trials. - Limitation of Liability
Gold Star Bin Service Company are not liable for:
– Missed pickups
– Guest refunds
– Local fines
– Wheelie Bin damage
– Vehicle damage from tipped bins
Maximum liability is limited to one year’s service fees per affected property. - Right to Refuse Service
Gold Star Bin Service Company may refuse or suspend service for:
– Safety concerns
– Property condition
– Incomplete access
– Terms violations
This can be done at our sole discretion, with or without explanation. - Messaging Terms
There are no text messaging services provided - Electronic Signature
Clicking “I agree” or submitting a signup form constitutes your legal signature. You agree this digital action has the same force as a handwritten signature. - ### END ###
